Terms and Conditions

Upon the submission of your registration form for any programmes and/or classes conducted by Singapore Swim School, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Registration

• Students will only be allowed to attend programmes and/or classes upon full payment of all applicable fees.

• Monthly fee is fixed and payable at the beginning of every month. 

• Late payment penalty charges of up to 5% will be imposed after 14 days.

• Registrations are not transferrable to any other persons.

Withdrawals and Non-refunds

• One-month in advance notices are required of the student for the purposes of withdrawal of deposits to offset lesson fees for the last month of classes.

• No refund of fees will be made for any missed lessons and withdrawals by a student from any program.

Classes

• Maximum class size for beginner classes is capped at 8. Intermediate and Advance class sizes are capped at 10 students per class.

• Duration of classes are 45 minutes per session.

• Complementary makeup lessons will be arranged if students are unable to turn up for lessons, provided that students inform the Admin at least one day in advance.

• No lessons will take place on fifth weeks, public holidays and on the eves of major public holidays.

• No makeup arrangements will be made for classes cancellable due to public holidays and on eves of major public holiday for group swim classes. 

Bad Weather Programmes

• Rain or shine, all swim lessons will procesd. In the event of bad weather, land drill training will be conducted under sheltered conditions.

• Two *Goodwill makeup session* per month can be arranged if students have missed lessons due to bad weather. 

Indemnity

• Duty of care will be taken to ensure the wellbeing of students during class. However, classes may be physically strenuous and student participation is based on mutual understanding and knowledge that there will be a possible risk of the sustenance of personal injury.

• Singapore Swim School shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, penalty, cost, expense and/or any other consequences arising from and/or in connection with any of its classes or programs to the fullest extent as may be permitted under applicable laws and regulations.

• You agree at all times to indemnify and hold harmless Singapore Swim School, its management, members and staff against all losses, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, orders, penalties and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) howsoever arising in connection with these terms and conditions.

Data Protection

• You agree that you have read, understood and consent to Singapore Swim School collecting, using, disclosing and processing your personal data in the manner set forth in our privacy policy.

• By attending our classes, courses and/or programs you agree to our collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data to the extent necessary to process your requests and provide you with our services.

Amendments

• Singapore Swim School reserves the right to review and/or amend any term in these terms and conditions from time to time as it deems fit.

• Any amendments to these terms and conditions will be notified to you in any manner as Singapore Swim School may decide two weeks prior to such amendments taking effect.

Governing Law

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
